With years of experience as dedicated preschool teachers, we are passionate about fostering early childhood development through play-based learning. As the founders, directors, and sole instructors of Small Wonders Preschool, we have gained a deep understanding of child-centered education, emphasizing creativity, exploration, and social-emotional growth in young children.
Combined, Brooke and Andra have backgrounds in Special and Early Elementary Education, Early Childhood Mental Health, Child Psychology, and Child Development. We are a strong team in the classroom and collaborate by pooling our knowledge, bringing different strengths and teaching styles to the classroom. Together, we create a balanced and enriched learning environment for our students.
Our approach to teaching is rooted in creating a warm, supportive environment where each child feels valued and excited to learn. We design and implement engaging, hands-on activities that promote curiosity and problem-solving skills, catering to diverse learning styles and developmental needs.
We started our school and chose to act in all the leadership roles to foster an intimate atmosphere for our students and families. It is important for us to be involved in all aspects of the preschool to ensure a premier early learning experience. As small business owners, we oversee all aspects of the preschool’s operations—from curriculum development to classroom management, budgeting, and parent communication. We are committed to maintaining a high standard of care and education, always prioritizing the well-being and success of each child in our school. We want Small Wonders Preschool to be a second family for everyone involved.
We aim to continue creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire children and families, contributing to the foundation of lifelong learning.
